
1 Minute Chocolate Frosting

Serves/Makes: 1.5 cups | Ready In: < 30 minutes
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, cocoa powder, butter, and milk. Stir until smooth and bring to a HARD boil over medium heat. Boil for one minute.
Stir in the vanilla and remove the pan from the heat. Let cool slightly. Do not let it cool too much or it will harden too quickly.
Beat with a mixer on medium-high speed for 3 minutes or until it is a spreadable consistency.
The frosting will harden as it sits so it should be immediately spread on the cake, cupcakes, or brownies.
