Ingredients: 3 pounds ground beef 1 small onion, chopped 1 cup instant rice 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon black pepper 2 eggs, well beaten 2 cups barbecue sauce
Directions: Combine the ground beef, onion, rice, oregano, garlic salt, black pepper, and eggs in a bowl. Mix well.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
Form the meat mixture into small meatballs. Place in the skillet and cook, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides.
Add the barbecue sauce and reduce the heat to a simmer. Cook for 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through, stirring occasionally.
Serve the meatballs with the sauce. For appetizers, serve the meatballs on toothpicks.
