
Juicy Apple Pork Chops

2 large Granny Smith apples (or other apple), peeled and sliced
1 large onion, sliced
4 pork chops
1 can (10.75 ounce size) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 packet onion mushroom soup mix
1/4 cup water
1/4 apple juice
ground nutmeg to taste
ground cinnamon to taste
Place the apples and onion on the bottom of the crock pot. Place the pork chops on top.
In a bowl, combine the mushroom soup, soup mix, water, and apple juice until blended. Pour over the pork chops.
Sprinkle the chops with nutmeg and cinnamon.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or until the pork is cooked through. Serve the chops with the vegetables and gravy.
