
Chicken Sausage Jambalaya

3 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut in 1-inch cubes
4 ounces smoked sausage, cut in 1-inch slices
1 cup spaghetti sauce
1 1/2 teaspoon Creole seasoning
1 can (16 ounce size) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 large onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 can (15 ounce size) chicken broth
1 cup instant rice, uncooked
Combine the chicken, sausage, spaghetti sauce, seasoning, tomatoes, onion, celery and broth in the crock pot. Mix well.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 4 hours. Add the rice and stir well. Cover the crock pot again and cook for 45 more minutes or until the rice is tender the the chicken is cooked through. Stir before serving. Adjust the seasoning as needed.
