CDKitchen https://www.cdkitchen.com
Serves/Makes: 6    |   Ready In: 1-2 hrs

Ingredients:
6 potatoes
2 pounds ground lamb
1 medium onion, diced
garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste
1 can (15 ounce size) sliced carrots, well drained
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Peel the potatoes and place in a large pan of boiling water. Cook until soft (about 10 minutes). Drain the water. Mashed the potatoes with a potato masher or hand mixer.

While the potatoes are cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground lamb and onion and cook, stirring, until the lamb is cooked. Stir in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper as desired. Place the cooked lamb in the bottom of a baking dish.

Top the lamb with the sliced carrots. Spread the mashed potatoes over the top. Sprinkle evenly with the cheese.

Place the pan in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. Serve immediately.
