
Apple Cider Stew

12 baby carrots, or peeled and sliced carrots
6 potatoes, peeled and cubed or sliced
2 apples, peeled and chopped
2 cups apple cider
1 pound beef or venison stew meat, cut in 1-inch pieces
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
2 tablespoons dry minced onion
Place the carrots, potatoes, and apples in the bottom of the crock pot. Pour the apple cider over the vegetables. Place the beef on top of the vegetables.
Sprinkle the beef with the salt, thyme, and onion.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours or until the beef is tender.
