Ingredients: 1/4 cup chopped shallots 3/4 cup red wine vinegar 1 pasteurized egg 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon dried basil 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard 1 tablespoon honey 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice 10 dashes Tabasco sauce 1/2 tablespoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1 1/2 cup olive oil 3/4 cup canola oil
Directions: In a food processor or container, combine shallots, vinegar, egg, oregano, basil, mustard, honey, lemon juice, Tabasco, salt and pepper.
With the motor running or while mixing, slowly add olive and canola oils to form an emulsion.
