Ingredients: 2 cups sugar 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar 2 cups heavy cream 1 cup light corn syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup black walnuts
Directions: Combine first 4 ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook until a small amount dropped in water forms a soft ball.
Remove from heat. Cool without stirring. Beat until mixture begins to thicken and lose its gloss. Add remaining ingredients.
Turn into buttered 8" square pan. Cool.
