
Baked Lemon-Butter Salmon

2 salmon fillets
1 lemon
butter, softened
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Place the salmon on a rimmed baking sheet. Spread a thin layer of butter over each salmon fillet. Place one lemon slice on top of each salmon fillet. Squeeze the juice from the remaining lemon evenly over the salmon.
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees F or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Serve the baked salmon with rice, if desired.
