Cointreau Fudge Torte
CDKitchen https://www.cdkitchen.com
Serves/Makes: 8    |   Ready In: 2-5 hrs

Ingredients:
4 ounces orange cointreau liqueur
1 family size frozen pound cake
1 can (16 oz size) chocolate fudge frosting

Directions:
Blend 1 oz. cointreau into the frosting. Slice frozen cake horizontally into 4 to 5 slices and put them on a sheet of foil. Drizzle remaining cointreau over cake slices.

Put 1 layer on platter and frost lightly. Repeat until all layers have been frosted, then frost sides. Top with nuts if desired. Chill before serving.

This is such an embarrassingly easy recipe, but guests just love it. You can also get creative with other liqueurs and frosting flavors. One I like for Christmas is white frosting flavored with a cinnamon liqueur. Bailey's caramel irish creme is also really good to use.
