Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

This sounds like it will be something easy to do but I was wondering if you could add extra meats and make it into something like a sub bagel on the George Foreman grill?
You can add additional ingredients. Just keep in mind that the more you include, the longer you'll have to cook the sandwich for it to heat through which could end up overcooking the bagel portion.
