Strawberry Ribbon Squares

ingredients
1 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 small package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 3/4 cup milk
1 envelope Dream Whip dessert topping mix
1 small package strawberry gelatin powder
1 cup boiling water
1 package (15 ounce size) frozen sliced strawberries
1 tablespoon lemon juice
directions
Combine flour and sugar, cut in butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Press evenly into bottom of 9" x 13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool.
Prepare instant pudding as directed on package using 1-3/4 cups milk. Prepare dessert topping as directed on package; fold 1 cup into prepared pudding. Spread on baked crust.
Dissolve gelatin powder in boiling water. Add frozen strawberries, breaking apart with a fork. Stir until slightly thickened, 3-5 minutes.
Add lemon juice. Spoon evenly over pudding layer. Chill until firm.
To serve, cut into squares. Garnish with remaining prepared dessert topping.
