This cream cheese spread is perfect for when you're feeling a bit fanciful. It's great on toast, bagels, or crackers.

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup craisins or currants
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons chopped chutney
4 tablespoons medium dry sherry
Place the cream cheese in a mixing bowl and beat on medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Stir the craisins, ginger, salt, and chutney in by hand.
Add the sherry 1 tablespoon at a time until the mixture is the desired consistency.
Use the spread on toast, bagels, or crackers. Store the cream cheese spread in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
