Peanut Butter Beer Bread

ingredients
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
5 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 bottle (12 ounce size) beer
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, combine the butter and peanut butter.
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add dry mixture alternately with beer to the peanut butter mixture (making three dry and two liquid additions), combine well after each.
Pour into a greased 9- x 5-inch loaf pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until loaf tests well done. Remove from pan and cool on a wire rack.
To serve, slice and toast. Spread with butter and jelly.
