ingredients
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash black pepper
3/4 cup beer
2 1/2 cups turkey, cooked, cut in large pieces
1 cup oil, for frying
1 small apple, peeled, cored, sliced
Cranberry Honey Dipping Sauce
1/4 cup cranberry sauce, jellied
1 tablespoon honey
directions
In small bowl mix well the flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. Stir in beer until smooth.
In large skillet heat oil. Dip turkey and apples in batter to coat evenly. Separate pieces, then fry a few at a time in hot oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot with Cranberry Honey Dipping Sauce.
Cranberry-Honey Dipping Sauce: In small bowl beat until smooth, jellied cranberry sauce and honey.
