Mom's Microwave Chocolate Pudding

ingredients
3 cups milk
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2/3 cup chocolate chips
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup cornstarch
directions
Mix 2 cups of the milk, the sugar, salt and chocolate chips in microwave bowl. Microwave on high for 5-7 Minutes. Whisk this mixture until chocolate is incorporated well.
Mix remaining milk and cornstarch, and stir it into hot chocolate mixture. Microwave for 3 more minutes, or until mixture thickens. Stir in vanilla and serve.

Waiting on a new cooktop so I have to use my microwave or oven for everything. Youngest kid wanted pudding so I searched until I found a microwave version. It worked great!
