It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons margarine
4 teaspoons milk
1 teaspoon multi-colored cookie decorations
Mash together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and margarine until dough looks like medium-sized crumbs. Slowly mix in the milk.
Form dough into a loose ball and divide it into 4 pieces with a spoon. Place a few dough pieces on greased sheet or pan. Sprinkle with cookie decorations over the top of the dough and push them in with your fingers. Bake 20 minutes.
This is for an Easy Bake Oven, a child's toy made by Hasbro.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
Beer makes batters better, meat more tender, and sauces more flavorful.
