ingredients
Bottom Crust
1 cup flour
3 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup butter
Filling
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup maraschino cherries
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup coconut
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
For Bottom Crust: Mix flour, confectioners' sugar and butter. Spread in the bottom of an 8" square pan. Bake for 25 minutes.
For Filling: Mix all filling ingredients together. Pour over top of baked crust. Bake for 25 minutes. Cut into squares.
These are good as a special treat around Christmas time.
