Beef, Bean and Macaroni Chili

ingredients
1/2 pound lean ground beef
1 small onion chopped
2 cups canned tomatoes
2 cups canned kidney beans, drained
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon chili powder
3/4 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
directions
Brown ground beef and onions in pan until lightly browned. Drain off fat. Add tomatoes, kidney beans, water, chili powder, and macaroni to beef mixture.
Simmer, covered, about 20 minutes until macaroni is tender. Stir occasionally to keep from sticking. Add additional water during cooking if necessary. Serve hot.

Wonderful recipe. Far tastier than packaged Hambuger Helper and for about the same price. This is a meal that will be used often for future meals. I used slightly less macaroni for a meatier dish.
