Impossible Green Chili Pie

ingredients
2 cans (4 ounce size) chopped green chiles, drained
2 cups milk
4 eggs
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup bisquick baking mix
directions
Sprinkle chiles and cheese in greased 9 inch pie plate. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth; pour over chile mixture.
Bake in preheated 425 degrees F oven until knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 25 to 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
Serve with sour cream or guacamole. Makes its own crust.

Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.

Great recipe, but it won't fit into a pie plate; use a lasagna-size pan (13x8 appx.) Enjoy!
