Cinco de Mayo
Cinco de Mayo celebrates Mexican victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. Traditional foods eaten on this holiday vary from family to family and region to region in Mexico. For that reason pretty much any Mexican food has become part of the festivities. Start with some spicy or mild salsa, feast on tacos or tamales, save room for flan, and wash it all down with a margarita (or two!)
