Blackberry Jam, Jelly and Preserves
Blackberries are sweet with a hint of tartness, similar to a raspberry. It's this great flavor that makes it so wonderful in jams and jellies. Depending on how sweet or tart the berries are you may need to adjust the amount of sugar from what is called for in the recipe. This jam goes great on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and also makes an incredible baste for ribs or chicken on the grill.
