Crock Pot Teriyaki Chicken
Teriyaki combines flavors of soy sauce, sugar, ginger and other seasonings - all of which go great with chicken! And while a stir-fry dish containing these ingredients is quick and easy, sometimes you need dinner ready when you get home. Enter: your crockpot.
By combining the ingredients in the crock instead of quick cooking them on the stove it means the flavor will infuse the chicken more - and tenderize it a bit. The result is a delicious, savory dish that is ready when you are. Some of these recipes we've collected call for bottled teriyaki sauce and others make it from scratch. Some recipes have add-ins like water chestnuts and bamboo shoots. Typically you can substitute or add in your favorite Asian-style veggies with good results.
