At the top of a recipe it says the recipe is ready in 5 hours but on the directions on the bottom it says to cook for on low for 10 to twelve hours. What is the correct cooking time?

Always go by the times listed in the directions for each recipe.  However, we add broader classifications of cooking times to each recipe to give viewers a quick way to browse recipes that might fit their schedules.  Our time classifications are as follows - please note, we use the mathmatical symbols < (less than) and > (greater than):

< 30 minutes (less than 30 minutes)
30-60 minutes
1-2 hours
2-5 hours
> 5 hours (greater than 5 hours)
